In this context, various countries around the world took measures especially linked to the income of international travelers, so Argentines planning vacations abroad should review the requirements carefully before embarking on a trip, especially now that summer is beginning. Particularly those who do not have a minimum vaccination schedule of two doses, will always be able to enter neighboring countries with a negative PCR test whose cost is around $10,000.

Other countries, such as the United States, require mandatory vaccination while many European countries reintroduce requirements for travelers from China but do not have any requirements for those from the rest of the world.

USA: Since January 5, the country is requesting a negative covid-19 detection test from travelers entering from China.

To arrive from Argentina it is necessary to have the well-known Visa, in addition to the complete vaccination scheme in which the last dose has been applied at least 15 days before entry. The country accepts the following vaccines: AstraZeneca, CanSinoBIO, Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna, Nuvaxovid, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, and Sinovac; in addition to combinations of these vaccines as long as they have been applied up to 17 days before the trip.

For the moment, In Argentina, new measures are not being evaluated around covid-19, nor is it stipulated to do so as soon as possible, according to sources from the Ministry of Health consulted by this means.

Minors under that age are exempt from these conditions.

Chili: You can enter the trans-Andean country with a vaccination certificate from the country of origin together with the traveler’s identity document; Those who are not vaccinated must have a negative PCR test done a maximum of 48 hours prior to admission, and although it is no longer necessary to have health insurance to enter, the recommendation is to have health coverage that includes complications related to covid -19.

Bolivia: It is necessary to have the complete vaccination certificate, a PCR test or an Antigen detection test, with a negative result, done within 72 or 48 hours before arrival, respectively; In addition, it is necessary to present the “Affidavit of the traveler for covid-19 monitoring” at the time of entering the country.
