With the recovery of the 8th day yesterday, Wednesday 21 December, the first round has officially ended, decisive in the matches of the Del Monte scoreboard® Italian Cup. The eight qualified formations now know their opponent: the Quarter Finals, which foresee a match from inside or outside on December 29 (Modena in advance on the 28th) on the field of the best classified, will officially give away the pass for the eagerly awaited Final Four in Rome on 25 and 26 February.
In addition to the already well-known Quarter Final between the Sir Safety Susa Perugiawinner of the Del Monte® Super Cup and Club World Champion, and the surprise start of the season Top Volleyball Tank (the two were already certain of first and eighth place before the recovery), it will be face to face again between Kitchens Lube Civitanova and Allianz Milan: the last first leg match between Civitanova and Siena in fact promoted the Marches to second place in the standings, and the Eurosuole Forum will see a real rematch of last year’s match, which promoted Milan to the Final Four in Bologna . Live Rai Sport Thursday evening, always at 20.30, for WithU Verona – Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, two young clubs with athletes of the highest technical and physical level, ready to sell dearly: Verona looking for its first appearance in the Italian Cup, Piacenza looking for its second consecutive Final Four. Another match not to be missed will be the advance on Wednesday, between Valsa Group Modena and Itas Trentinowith the kick-off at 20.30 at the PalaPanini and live on Rai Sport: an inside-out clash between two regulars of the competition who will kick off the quarter-final matches on Wednesday 28 evening, which already promise sparks.
There is now less than a week left for the already decisive round of the Cup, and there are now two months left for the Del Monte Final Four® Coppa Italia: the event, scheduled for 25 and 26 February 2023 and organized by the Serie A Volleyball League, the FIPAV Lazio Regional Committee, the FIPAV Rome Territorial Committee and Rome Capital, has already opened the ticket office with a Christmas promotion: on the website www.ticketone.it it is already possible to purchase season tickets (2 or 4) for both days of competitions thanks to the “Christmas Promo”, valid until 31 December, which guarantees savings on purchases already in the early stages of the free sale.
