The vice president of Ars returns to the vote that sees her as second behind the grillino Di Paola
PALERMO – The bitterness for the vote in the courtroom that saw her finish second behind the pentastellato Nuccio Di Paola has been disposed of, however Luisa Lantieri wants to remove a few pebbles from her shoe. “Snipers? Look for them in Forza Italia 1”, the vice president of Ars says outspokenly at Live Sicilia. And she does not skimp on the M5S guilty of having inherited all the worst vices of the old policy they wanted to fight.
Mrs, how saddened are you by the vote on the vice-presidencies in the House?
At first there was a lot of bitterness because I didn’t expect it from some colleagues. Having disposed of my bitterness, out of institutional duty, I returned to the chamber and regularly participated in the vote of my secretarial colleagues and quaestors. Indeed, my outburst made it clear to the majority that they had to meet and vote in a serious way.
What idea did she get? Where are we to look for these snipers?
Certainly not in Fratelli d’Italia, I don’t think so because some colleagues came to the courtroom to vote for me out of affection and esteem and not for a political fact. In my opinion there was a failure, apart from Miccichè’s group (who, however, said it clearly) but also from someone else in the party group.
Do you mean Forza Italia 1?
Yes, because we knew about Miccichè’s group, but I don’t think something went wrong even in Forza Italia1. One or two I misunderstood.
Think how many difficulties we reporters can have…
Indeed. Back to the point, I reiterate that at least Miccichè and Mancuso had clearly said they would not vote for me, but something also happened within the other group.
How will the internecine war end?
I hope that a solution can be found also because President Schifani is a man of balance and a man of institutions and as such he will do everything to find a solution because this leads nowhere and Sicily needs to be governed. These internal party diatribes are not good for the parties or the institutions, but above all for the citizens who are waiting for answers.
But the vote in the classroom says that you don’t have the majority. It doesn’t seem like a good omen for the new legislature in a political phase that sees Sicily gripped by numerous problems…
There are many stomach aches within each party and it is useless to hide it. However, I hope that in a few days everyone will find peace of mind, otherwise it will become a problem. And I would like to add one last thing about Thursday’s vote.
You’re welcome.
I’m an outspoken person (sometimes too much, but if I exaggerate I’m ready to apologize) but loyal. I always keep my word and I don’t like games.
Who is it referring to?
To Nuccio Di Paola and the Cinquestelle Movement who have shouted against politics and then find themselves playing these games
