The Great Place to Work ranking establishes the list of the 150 best European companies where it is good to work. In 2022, Italy is second with France, behind only the United Kingdom.
Well-being, respect, cohesion, fairness and credibility: these are the qualities that make a European company the ideal workplace for every employee. Great Place to Work, a company that works in the study and analysis of the business climate, established the ranking “Best Workplaces in Europe 2022” : the 150 best European organizations for which employees are the happiest to work for have been chosen by 800,000 employees representing 1.4 million people employed in more than 3,000 companies operating in 21 countries in Europe.
Employees interviewed further emphasized the importance of benefits, general well-being and professional training opportunities. A collaborator experience, which is ultimately the responsibility and commitment of the employer.
Italy is the second European country, at the same level as France, for the number of companies on the list (7%), just behind the United Kingdom (9%) but ahead of Germany and Spain (5%). ).

An Italian company in the category of large companies (more than 500 employees)
Italy is on the top of the category thanks to Unlimiteda new generation banking group that ranks 13th out of 50 European companies.
Italian companies rewarded in the category of medium-sized companies (from 50 to 499 employees).
The Italian presence is notable in the category of the 50 best medium-sized companies in Europe. And this thanks to the presence of Bending Spoons (Technology and Software) which rose to 6th place, Sidea Group S.r.l. (Technology) which takes 15th place and web ranking (Media, Internet Services) in 42nd position.
Italian companies among the top 25 small companies (from 10 to 49 employees)
Two Italian companies are winners in the category of the 25 best small companies: Fluentify and Nebulab Srl.
Ranking of multinationals
A special mention for the only Belpaese company included in the ranking of multinationals, which distinguishes the 25 best European companies operating in three or more countries. The podium is held by DHL Express (logistics and transport sector), AbbVie (biotechnology and pharmaceutical products sector) and in third place Hilton (hotel sector). But in this generally private list of Italian companies, there is Chiesi Groupwhich operates in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector.
At the Choose France summit last year, Chiesi group received the Special Prize from France for its “contribution to the recovery plan” due to its major investments in France.
