In the last hours, the Colombian cyclist Egan Bernal It was a trend on social networks thanks to its new image, which is giving people talk. The 2019 Tour de France champion underwent cosmetic surgery that, according to leaked images, left him nearly dead. “unrecognizable” according to users.
According to information published by the magazine Soho, who had contact with the medical staff that operated on the Giro d’Italia champion in 2021, the athlete decided to enter the operating room since he had some difficulties breathing and incidentally an aesthetic touch-up was performed on his nose.
“She had an obstructive nasal pathology, multiple nasal traumas and, in addition, she presented a septal deviation that generated a significant obstruction to the passage of air, a condition that became more evident at times of greater physical effort.”
The same medium stated that with this surgical intervention, Egan Bernal will have an improvement in his breathing, since he had been presenting this type of problem for years. “To facilitate the passage of air and thus recover the functional purpose of the nose, which is expected to improve oxygenation and performance during physical activity.”
For her part, on December 20, the journalist from FM Darcy Quinn posted a video showing Egan Bernal training with other runners.
