Fratelli d’Italia is a candidate, together with the centre-right, for the leadership of Fano. “The results of the political elections speak for themselves – underlines the coordinator Loretta Manocchi – Fd’I, even in Fano it is the first party”. The number of members is growing, reaching 150 and “the young people, under 30 who have taken the party card” specified Moses Gaiardi. “We are a cohesive party – added councilor Giuseppe Pierpaoli – which believes in its commitment and from next year will have its headquarters in vicolo Alavolini”. Despite having the numbers and the people, Fd’I does not claim the mayoral candidate: “It will have to be – explains Manocchi – the expression of a group of people who find themselves united on a new project for the city. The candidate must have the characteristics and ability to really govern Fano”. Fratelli d’Italia has only one certainty about the candidate for mayor: “The choice will be from the Fanesi – comments with irony, the national manager Angelo Bertoglio – neither from Pesaro nor from Ancona (referring to the interference of the two cities in the decisions of the center-left of Fano ed. )”.
The council leader Lucia Tarsi has the task of summarizing the commitment of the Brothers of Italy as an opposition party “which has never acted in a prejudicial manner but according to common sense and in the interest of the city”. The themes dear to Fd’I were touched upon, from housing problems to poverty, with a reference to the economic difficulties of the San Paterniano canteen: “If they give in, then there will be a flood”. Tarsi then focused on the lack of places in municipal infant-toddler centers “with many families forced to take their children to private structures”. Still on the school front, the Brothers of Italy wonders “what happened to the 5 million euros for the former Carducci: traces of it have been lost”. “Enac’s 3 and a half million for Fano airport is also at risk: this is an administration of announcements only that wastes time and money, often forced to make bad last-minute decisions”. Remember from Bertoglio “the request made to the mayor to attribute an honor to Bigio (the lifeguard who lost his life in Torrette in 2017 to save two children), unfortunately fallen on deaf ears and the failure to establish the municipal guarantor for disabilities “.
Another accusation leveled against the centre-left majority is “administrative inertia”. “Few documents – according to Tarsi – reach the municipal council, which in some cases even had to be postponed”. Just as the internal difficulties of the current center-left were highlighted “difficulties confirmed in the last council with the Gimarra variant approved with a narrow majority”. The opposition of Meloni’s party reiterated “to paid parking which, in any case, must benefit the neighborhoods in which they insist. Between the Imu of tourist houses, paid parking and fines, the Municipality collects 380 thousand euros a year which should be used for the benefit of the activities of the entire waterfront”. Andrea Montalbini focused attention on healthcare, in particular on the creation with regional funds of the emergency center at Santa Croce and on the pediatric hospice in the former hospital area “for the needs of all the Marches”.
